There has been some complaints from our club and on line readers and we apologize to our on line readers for our news letter not being up to date. We are experiencing some growing pains that growing older does not help. We will have our news letter current very shortly. Please bare with us.
The registration for our September 5-6 overnight trip to Niagara Falls is filling up rapidly. With lots of interest, looks like we will be chartering 2 buses,(47 Pass and 56 Pass) to accommodate all that are interested .
We welcomed two new members, Jim Scott and his wife Gwen to our club meeting this month.
Executive board member, Bill Slaght is home after a lengthy stay in hospital after his heart surgery, Jim Leebody is in Providence Villa awaiting therapy and Neil McIsaac is doing well after radiation.
Our club is saddened by the passing of the following members Thomas Waddell-80 years old, Andrew Toop- 66 years old, Alphonse Boisvert-86 years old and Robert Wilson-63 years old.
Norma Brown sent a letter of praise for the Walters Family Dinner/Show trip that everyone enjoyed so much.
July Birthdays were celebrated by Jean Dale, Margaret Carroll, Josie Severn, Gerrie Gibson, Karl Klinck, Michelle Gamon and Tony Czapla.
July Anniversaries were celebrated by Franz and Maria Dietz-53 years, Hans and Lena Jander-41 years, Helmuth and Ann Krohn-38 years.
This months 50/50 door prize draw of $39.50 each was won by Norma Brown and Alice Painter.
